Gren is an experienced operational and company leader with a long track record of building fast growing businesses and creating shareholder return.

Reputed in the private equity sector, Gren is credited with the turnaround of numerous portfolio companies. Whilst with West Hill Capital the UK private equity company as their turnaround specialist achieving an mean average of 14.3x return to shareholders over 7  years across three portfolio companies.

Voted CEO of the year in 2021 while at Intelligent Lilli, for taking the company from near insolvency to annual recurring revenue of GBP£8mn in 36 months and a valuation in excess GBP£80mn.

Gren began his career as a derivatives trader at JP Morgan before moving into private equity and sat on the Investment Committee of Virgin Enterprises helping young aspiring entrepreneurs realise their ideas. He has consulted for a number of uk and European banks, and has been a regular contributor to specialist business press in the UK and US.
